Consistent Performance Across Splits Leads to Another Strong Finish Fia Blackman displayed an impressive performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, completing the race with an overall time of 49:28. Maintaining a steady pace, her average was 7:58 min/mile. Notably, she showed a strong finish, covering the final mile in just 7:14, her fastest pace of the race, which helped her secure 2nd place in the F60-64 division. Splits reveal consistent performance, starting with an 8:02 min/mile pace for the first mile. Despite a slight deceleration in the third mile, Fia quickly adjusted her pace, maintaining an overall strong performance. Her pacing strategies showcased her experience and commitment to strong finishes. Continuing to place 2nd in her age division demonstrates consistency in her performance.
