Consistent Pace with Strong Finish Mark completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon with an official time of 3:12:49, demonstrating an impressive consistency with an overall steady pace of 7:21 min/mile throughout the course. Notably, his 19th-mile split marked a significant burst in speed with a 6:48 min/mile pace, showing a strong acceleration. He maintained a consistent position, finishing 386th overall, 344th among males, and 50th in his division, M40-44, out of 3,624 participants. Mark displayed great endurance and pacing strategy by maintaining his pace within a tight range across the marathon distance. There is a noticeable improvement when compared to previous races; his 2023 half marathon pace was 7:51 min/mile, indicating enhanced performance over longer distances.
