Consistent Pace with Notable Splits in 2025 Mesa Marathon Nate exhibited a consistent performance, maintaining a generally steady pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon in Mesa, AZ. His average pace was 8:38 min/mile, concluding with an overall time of 3:46:13. A highlight was his ability to speed up at mile 9, achieving a split pace of 7:54 min/mile, which was the fastest of all his splits. Notably, he secured a place within the top third of his division, M40-44, finishing 111th out of many competitors. Analyzing the latter half of the race, it appears there was a gradual slowing trend, particularly from miles 21 to 25, with a split reaching 11:03 min/mile at mile 21. Considering this, it may be beneficial to focus on sustained endurance and strategies for energy conservation in the final stages of long races. Overall, Nate represented Mesa and his team, McKirdy Trained, admirably among over 3600 participants.
