Consistent Start with Slight Decrease in Pace Margaret Brosnahan maintained a steady pace at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the event in 4:53:42 with an average pace of 11:12 minutes per mile. Her early splits were strong, starting with a pace of 9:31 for the first mile and maintaining under 10-minute miles up to mile 11. Notably, she achieved one of her fastest splits between miles six and seven at 9:32, which highlights her ability to sustain pace after a slight slowdown. Although a decrease in pace was observed mid-race, Margaret effectively picked up the pace in the final mile, recording a 10:59-minute mile for mile 26.
