Strong Finish in 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K September Chiste displayed consistent pacing during the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. She completed the race in 57:26, maintaining an average pace of 9:15 min/mile across the 6.2-mile course. Her pace was notably steady during the initial splits, clocking in at around 9:20 min/mile for the first two miles. Mile 6 saw an impressive increase in speed, with an 8:42 min/mile pace. This consistency placed her 21st in her division (F40-44), out of 2107 participants. Comparing with her past performances, September shaved off over two minutes from last year's finish time of 59:38. Her previous personal best at the 2014 Mesa Marathon was 56:20. Maintaining such steady pacing is commendable. For future races, continuing to enhance her later splits and sustaining her pace could further improve her performance. Her progress with each event indicates that her methodical pacing strategy is effective.
