Consistent Pace with Strong Close At the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event, Hruthika Vemula from Gilbert, AZ delivered a consistent performance. Starting strong with a 12:40 min/mile pace, she maintained a steady rhythm throughout. The challenge was in the middle as her pace ranged around 14:00 to 15:33 min/mile over the next few miles. The race concluded with Hruthika covering the total distance in 1:31:02, achieving an overall pace of 14:41 min/mile. Hruthika finished strong, showing improvement in the latter portion of the race, particularly notable in the 6th mile completed at a faster pace of 14:12 min/mile compared to previous miles. She placed 25th in her division (F15-18), indicating competitive performance among peers. One area to focus on might be maintaining the early race momentum throughout the mid-sections, ensuring the splits remain consistently strong as seen in her closing mile.
