Consistent Improvement Seals the Race Matthew Graham, 37, from Phoenix, AZ, demonstrated a consistent and steady performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the half marathon with a finishing time of 1:29:10. He maintained an impressive overall pace of 6:48 min/mile, placing 23rd in his M35-39 age division out of 3859 participants. Throughout the race, he displayed admirable pacing strategies, notably achieving his fastest segment between miles 3 and 6, clocking a swift 6:18 min/mile in mile 6. His performance in this race marks a noticeable improvement over his previous entries in the Mesa Marathon, shaving off over one minute from his 2024 performance.
