Steady Pace Shows Consistency in Half Marathon Scott Pearson, a 54-year-old from Harrisburg, SD, competed in the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with noteworthy consistency in pacing. Across the 13.1-mile course, Scott managed to maintain a relatively steady split pace, beginning with an opening mile of 11:58 min/mile and closing the race with an overall elapsed pace of 12:06 min/mile.
