Pacing Consistency with Late Surges Donna Sickler completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon with a commendable finish time of 2:39:32, averaging a consistent pace of 12:10 min/mile. Her race strategy demonstrated steadiness with an initial mile time of 12:12, before hitting a quicker mid-race pace, recording her fastest at mile 6 with 11:36 min/mile. Throughout the race, Donna's overall placement adjusted slightly, concluding at 2774th out of 3859 participants, with a notable improvement in her division F50-54 placement during the last split, from 128 to 127. Her pace was maintained consistently, showcasing a slight variation across the course. Though a few splits saw minor fluctuations, particularly mile 8 peaking at 13:01 min/mile, Donna showed determination by recovering strongly towards the end.
