Even Splits and Strong Finish: Consistent Performance Shines In the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, Rachael showed excellent pacing progression throughout all six miles. She started with a 12:16 min/mile pace and gradually improved each mile. Notably, her pace dipped to an impressive 8:23 min/mile in the final mile. Rachael's overall time for this year's race was 1:04:02, with an average pace of 10:19 min/mile. Finishing 652nd overall and 277th among females in a field of 2107 participants reflects a solid competitive effort. Comparing past performances, her 2024 finish was slightly faster at 1:03:18. Her previous highlight was the 2022 Mesa Marathon 10K with a remarkable 59:11 finish. While her final time this year was not a personal best, Rachael's pacing strategy demonstrated significant improvement during the race. Maintaining consistency earlier in the race may improve future race outcomes, but the strong finish shows great potential for upcoming events.
