Consistent Effort in a Steady Pace Tini Jacobs showed admirable consistency in her performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Covering the half marathon distance of 13.1 miles, Tini finished with a total time of 2:46:03 and an average pace of 12:40 min/mile. Throughout the race, Tini maintained a relatively steady pace with her split times mostly remaining within the 12:00 to 13:23 min/mile range. Starting strong with a 12:00 min/mile for the first mile, she continued to keep a commendable average, with slightly slower times as the race progressed. In terms of placement, Tini was 1,506th in her gender category and 136th in her age division (F50-54) out of 3859 participants. Her performance showed consistent pacing, but there is potential for improvement in maintaining the initial energy throughout the mid-race miles. Joining the 50 States Half Marathon Club might provide opportunities for more experience and potential for pacing strategies in future events.
