Consistent Race Pacing with Notable Division Performance Beverly's half marathon performance demonstrated impressive consistency, maintaining an average pace of 9:12 min/mile over the 13.1 miles. Her splits ranged from 8:47 to 9:41 min/mile, showing a steady pace with a slight pickup in the final segment. Notably, Beverly achieved a strong division placement, finishing 6th in the F65-69 category. Her early splits showed initial competitiveness, with her first mile holding a 3rd place spot in her division. Compared to recent performances, Beverly improved upon her finishing time from last year's race, reducing it by over 13 minutes. Her experience and consistent pacing contributed significantly to this improvement. Encouraging greater focus on maintaining the split times from her first three miles throughout the race could enhance future performances. Being an active member of the Las Sendas Run Bike Tri Club reflects positively, supporting her in achieving consistent results in her division.
