Consistent Effort Across the Miles Diane Labban, representing the Las Sendas Run Bike Tri Club, demonstrated consistent pacing during the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Her performance began with a strong first mile at a pace of 9:56 min/mile. As she progressed, her pace ranged from 9:33 min/mile at mile 3 to 11:19 min/mile at mile 12, ultimately finishing with an overall pace of 10:19 min/mile across the 13.1-mile course. Notable improvement is seen in her early mile splits with a quickening pace from the start through mile 3. Her strongest placement occurred in the F55-59 category at the first mile, where she ranked 14th. Although her overall pace decreased towards the final miles, Diane's ability to maintain an average pace close to her best in previous shorter races highlights her endurance. While she placed 954th among female runners, she achieved a commendable 37th placement in the F55-59 category among 3859 participants. Sustaining energy through the latter part of the race could be an area to focus on for future events.
