Consistent Performance with Strong Finishing Pace Melvina Thomson from Beverly Hills, MI participated in the 2025 Mesa Half Marathon, representing the "50 States Half Marathon Club". Throughout the 13.1-mile course, she demonstrated admirable consistency, finishing with an overall time of 3:00:35 and an average pace of 13:47 min/mile. Notably, Melvina achieved her fastest mile split in the third mile, clocking in at 12:34 min/mile. Her ability to pick up the pace after the second mile was a key strength of her race strategy.
