Steady Improvement and Strong Finish Christina Nienstedt demonstrated consistent momentum throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event. Her performance shows a noteworthy improvement in pacing. Starting with a pace of 17:44 min/mile in the first mile, Christina progressively increased her speed, culminating in a strong 14:49 min/mile by the sixth mile. This translated to an overall pace of 16:13 min/mile and a completion time of 1:40:37. Throughout the race, Christina moved up in her division, with notable placement within the F40-44 age group. Considering the overall participant field of 2107, she finished 1630th overall, 924th among females, and 112th in her division. Aiming for improved early paces in future races could further enhance her race results. It’s also beneficial if she continues building upon her demonstrated capacity to increase speed as the race progresses, particularly as she did impressively in the final mile.
