Consistent and Determined Pace Michele Funk participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon, maintaining a steady pace throughout the race. Her overall time for the 13.1 miles was 3:30:17, with an average pace of 16:03 min/mile. Notably, Michele's fastest split was her final mile, clocking in at 14:39 min/mile. She showed strong finishing speed, which indicates a potential area to leverage and build on in future races. Throughout the race, Michele consistently demonstrated her ability to maintain her rhythm, particularly from miles 12 to 13, where she sped up from 15:18 min/mile to 14:39 min/mile.
