Sustained Pacing with Notable Improvements Casey Crandell showed impressive pacing during the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon. Starting strong with the first mile at a pace of 8:49 min/mile, Casey increased his pace for the next two splits, reaching a notable 7:49 min/mile by the third mile. Maintaining a consistent pace under 9:00 min/mile mid-race, he managed a strong finish with an elapsed time of 1:55:04 and an overall pace of 8:47 min/mile. While facing challenges in the later stages, Casey demonstrated the ability to push through, culminating in a finish bettering his 2023 performance. Compared to past races, Casey continues to improve his overall strategy. Notably, he cut down his previous half marathon time of 2:00:26 in 2023 by over five minutes.
