Significant Time Drops Highlight the Race Bryce Crandell's recent performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K was marked by an impressive improvement. He finished with a time of 46:13, yielding a pace of 7:27 min/mile. Despite the competitive field, Bryce held a strong position, placing 5th in his M15-18 division. Notably, his splits showcased a consistent improvement, hitting a fastest mile at 6:54. Compared to previous races, Bryce's time was a marked progression from his 2022 effort of 1:09:39 and his 2023 performance of 1:00:05, as well as a strong advancement from 1:01:11 in 2024. The most dramatic advancement came in his pace, dropping from an initial 11:14 min/mile in 2022 to 7:27 min/mile this year. Emphasis on maintaining and even quickening his pace through each mile was evident. Bryce can continue to focus on enhancing early race pacing, specifically his first mile at 7:55, to improve future race outcomes.
