Progressive Improvement Across Each Split Demonstrates Strong Performance Rusty Crandell displayed consistent pacing in the 2025 Mesa Marathon's 10K event, finishing with an elapsed time of 1:14:09, significantly improving his pace to 11:57 min/mile from previous years. Rusty's performance in each split reveals a strategic beginning, with the first mile completed in 11:44. Notably, he achieved his fastest pace between miles 1 and 2 at 10:44 min/mile. Although there's a slight deceleration observed in the later miles, especially in the fourth mile, an overall recognition for maintaining a steady pace is evident.
