Consistent and Strong Finish: 2025 Mesa Marathon Kate Crandell demonstrated consistency in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, completing the course with an elapsed time of 55:44 and an average pace of 8:59 min/mile. Her splits showed improvement, particularly in the final miles. Notably, her last mile was her fastest with a split pace of 8:02 min/mile, reflecting a focused and strong finish. She secured 6th in her division for most miles, displaying resilience and competitiveness throughout the race. Comparing to her past performances, Kate maintained a steady pace. She was slightly faster than her 2024 performance, shaving off over half a minute and demonstrating slight improvement in pace. Her initial performance in 2022 showed a significant transformation to her current competitive form. In this race, she placed 122nd among females and 7th in her division, F15-18. Focusing a bit more on pace consistency during the initial miles could enhance her overall performance.
