Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Jennifer Shin participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon, completing the 13.1-mile course with an elapsed time of 2:49:10 and an average pace of 12:54 min/mile. Representing the 50 States Half Marathon Club, she placed 1541st among female participants and 80th in her F55-59 division. Jennifer began with a consistent pace, maintaining times close to the 11:30 mark for the initial splits. Splits 4 through 7 showed a gradual increase in pace, peaking at a 14:44 min/mile. Notably, she achieved a strong finish with a significant improvement in the final split, clocking in at 10:50 min/mile. Focusing on maintaining an even pace throughout the race could serve as an area for improvement. Nonetheless, the solid finish demonstrated her ability to persevere and adapt under fatigue, a valuable skill in competitive running.
