Consistent Performance with Steady Pacing Joy Hsieh showcased a steady performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event. His finishing time was 1:17:33, translating to an average pace of 12:30 min/mile. Hsieh demonstrated consistency in pacing, with minimal volatility throughout the race. The first half of the race featured paces of 12:18, 12:05, and 12:50 min/mile, while the second half saw slight variations, finishing with split paces of 13:11, 12:13, and 12:32 min/mile. In the M40-44 division, Hsieh secured 60th place out of 2107 participants, positioning him well among his peers. One area to consider for future races is maintaining the early tempo further into the race as his fastest mile was the second at 12:05.
