Consistent Start, Challenging Finish Matthew Robertson, 32, from Mesa, AZ, completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a total time of 3:34:08, averaging a pace of 8:10 min/mile. Early in the race, he demonstrated impressive consistency. The initial splits were quite even, maintaining a steady pace around 7:15 to 7:30 min/mile for the first ten miles. His performance placed him 614th in the men's category and 123rd in the M30-34 division out of 3624 participants. However, a notable slowdown occurred in the race's later stages, with mile splits from 21 onward extending past a 10:00 min/mile pace.
