Consistent Progress on the Mesa Marathon Track Corissa Smith completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 2:21:03, marking a consistent effort with an average pace of 10:46 min/mile over 13.1 miles. Splits show variability, starting at 10:47 min/mile and peaking at 9:50 min/mile at the 3-mile mark before a slight deceleration. Her strongest segment was the third mile with a split pace of 9:50 min/mile, contrasting with the 9th mile’s pace of 11:39 min/mile. These fluctuations suggest well-maintained stamina with slight deceleration in the latter stages. Notably, she improved notably from her previous year’s performance by finishing 25 minutes faster. Corissa ranked 1,096th among women and 151st in her F40-44 age division. When compared to her previous races, her effort shows an upward trend in speed and improved overall placing.
