Consistent Effort with Steady Finish Jackie's performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon showcased consistency with an overall pace of 9:13 min/mile, finishing with a time of 2:00:55. His early miles were quite varied, beginning with a split pace of 9:47 min/mile in the first mile and improving significantly with an impressive 8:15 min/mile in the third mile. Despite a dip in the fourth mile at a 10:00 min/mile pace, he recovered to maintain a consistent pace between 8:56 and 9:16 min/mile for most of the race. While his final placement was 46th in the M55-59 division and 822nd in gender out of 3859 participants, Jackie showed steady pacing that can be refined. Considering his earlier races, targeting a pace closer to his 2022 results may yield improved times in future events. Continued focus on maintaining a consistent pace throughout could enhance overall performance and division standing.
