Consistent Effort and Strong Finish Over 26.2 Miles At the 2025 Mesa Marathon, Vivek Srivastav, representing Team Nova2Mesa, completed the 26.2-mile course in 5:49:49. His overall pace was 13:21 min/mile. Notably, Vivek maintained consistent split paces throughout the marathon, highlighting his ability to sustain effort across various distances. The strongest mile, split time-wise, was mile 4 with a 10:03 pace. This perhaps suggests a potential to target similar quicker paces in future races. The second half of the race saw a bit of pacing fluctuation, as seen with a notable slower mile 19 split at 16:43 min/mile. From mile 20 onward, Vivek's overall positioning steadily improved, climbing from 3005 to finishing at 3008. This indicates a commendable finishing effort despite challenges experienced mid-race. There is the opportunity to focus on endurance strength towards the latter part of the course. Continued attention to pacing and endurance training may enhance future performance.
