Brayden's Consistent Effort Yields Notable Improvement Brayden Gibbons maintained a strong 9:03 min/mile pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, completing the 13.1 miles with an elapsed time of 1:58:46. This represents a significant improvement from his 2024 performance, where he clocked in at 2:01:00 with a 9:14 min/mile pace. His performance has steadily progressed since 2023, showcasing his growth and dedication to enhancing his race strategy and speed. Notably, his strongest mile was the 12th, completed in 8:49, displaying a commendable ability to sustain speed towards the race's end. Brayden's overall placement was 1297th out of 3859, with a gender placement of 751st and division placement of 124th in the M25-29 category. Lingering longer on some of the later splits such as the 10th mile (9:18), slight improvements in split consistency could elevate his ranking further. Competing with the "Just Move It" team, he has solidified his standing as a determined athlete who's making pronounced progress.
