Consistent Pacing Showcased in Half Marathon Sarita Kinney maintained a remarkably consistent pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon, completing the half marathon distance in 3:14:50. Her overall pace of 14:52 min/mile highlighted her steady efforts, especially notable at the 3-mile marker where she reached her fastest split pace of 12:54 min/mile. This mid-race boost led to her achieving an impressive placement of 87th in her division (F55-59) at that point. As the race progressed, Sarita experienced slight increases in split times, with the most challenging stretch occurring between miles 11 and 12, culminating in her slowest split pace of 17:33 min/mile. However, Sarita's persistence shone through as she crossed the finish line, placing her 97th in her division out of 3859 participants. There's potential to refine pacing strategies in future races.
