Consistent Effort with Steady Pace Kathryn Oakley delivered a consistent performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon with a total time of 3:17:38. Her average pace for the race was 15:05 min/mile, demonstrating steady pacing throughout the 13.1-mile course. Early on, Kathryn maintained a pace close to 13:00 min/mile, completing the first three miles with times of 13:02, 12:54, and 13:00. Her strongest split was the second mile, with a time of 12:54. In the latter half of the race, Kathryn's pace slightly increased, peaking at 16:48 in mile four, but she managed to keep most mile splits under 16 minutes. Notably, her finish as 71st in the F60-64 division indicates room for growth when comparing to her peers. Continual pacing and endurance work can further improve results. As a proud member of the 50 States Half Marathon Club, Kathryn's commitment to the sport is commendable.
