Consistent Marathon Performance with Steady Pacing Kerry Lally demonstrated commendable consistency in pacing throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon, with an overall elapsed time of 3:21:53 and an average pace of 7:42 min/mile. She maintained a strong pace across the 26.2-mile course, showing minor variation around her average split times. Noteworthy was her ability to start strong with a 7:16 min/mile for the first mile and finish with a swift pace of 7:28 min/mile at mile 26. While she experienced some fluctuations in pace, particularly noticeable at mile 23 with an 8:27 min/mile, her ability to adjust and maintain competitive pace was evident. Placing 12th in the F45-49 division, Kerry secured a spot in the top 3% of her age group category, which is impressive given the field of 3624 participants. For future races, focusing on maintaining lower splits in the later miles could further enhance her race performance.
