Pacing Performance in 10K Race Carol maintained a consistent effort throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K event. Her pacing was fairly uniform, with an overall elapsed time of 1:41:03 and an average pace of 16:18 per mile for the 6.2 miles. The statistical highlight was her best split time of 15:42 in the first mile, where she kept an even pace and placed 40th in her age division. The third mile was a bit slower at 16:29/min, but she improved slightly towards the end with a 15:55 split in the final mile. In terms of placement, Carol finished 57th in her F60-64 age division and 929th in her gender category. She registered consistent pace fluctuations ranging from 15:42 to 17:05. Focusing on maintaining her early race pace throughout could enhance future performances. Analyzing the slight drop in pace between miles two and four can guide her next training cycle for improved endurance and speed consistency.
