Consistent Start with Scope to Boost Final Splits Anand Kumar, competing in the 2025 Mesa Marathon's half marathon, finished with a time of 3:15:55, averaging a pace of 14:57 min/mile. He completed each mile at a consistent pace, posting a notable start with a 12:22 min/mile for his first mile. His consistent pacing during the initial half resulted in maintaining roughly similar placement across different categories. Overall, Anand placed 3262 out of 3859 participants, 1513 for male competitors, and 168 in the M45-49 division. The splits show a decline in pace, building from a 12:22 min/mile in the first mile to 16:06 min/mile in the final mile.
