Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish Rafael Carmona maintained a steady pace throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon. He recorded an overall pace of 7:12 min/mile over the 26.2-mile course, finishing with a time of 3:08:59. His race strategy was consistent, as shown by his average pace across multiple splits remaining close to the 6:41 to 7:12 range. Notably, Rafael surged during mile 19 with a split pace of 6:36, placing him 3rd in his division for that segment. A minor slowdown was observed in the later miles, with mile 21 reaching a split pace of 9:49 min/mile. To build on this strong performance, focusing on maintaining speed in the final stretch could be beneficial.
