Improved Consistency with a Strong Finish Ravinder Gairola demonstrated steady pacing at the 2025 Mesa Marathon despite the larger field of 3,859 participants compared to previous years. He completed the half marathon with an elapsed time of 2:09:15 and an overall pace of 9:52 min/mile. Notably, Ravinder maintained sub-10-minute miles, starting with an initial split of 10:00 and pushing to incorporate several faster segments later, including a notable split at mile 3 with a 9:34 min/mile pace. Analyzing the split data, it is clear Ravinder excels in maintaining a consistent pace, with an impressive improvement on the final mile recording a pace of 9:33 min/mile. He placed 104th in his age division (M45-49), indicating significant competition. Although his overall time was slightly slower than last year, his ability to maintain a consistent rhythm across a crowded field is commendable. Focusing on sustaining speed in the second half may enhance performance next year.
