Consistent Effort and Strategic Pacing Jodell Doane showcased commendable consistency in the 2025 Mesa Marathon. Her split times revealed a steady pace, with an overall elapsed time of 2:32:19 and an average pace of 11:37 min/mile. The split from mile 3 was her fastest at 10:22 min/mile, indicating a strong middle section. Despite some fluctuation, her pace remained close to her average throughout. At the finish, Jodell placed 117th in her F50-54 division out of 3859 total participants. Improvements could be focused on the latter miles, especially between miles 8 and 10, where her pace decelerated. The pace at mile 8 was 12:35 min/mile, the slowest segment. Encouragingly, she finished strong with improved splits in the final miles, regaining earlier pace consistency.
