Consistent Progress with a Strong Finish Michele Pettinger, aged 54 from Santa Cruz, CA, showed a consistent and steady performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon as part of the 50 States Half Marathon Club. Michele maintained an impressive improvement in pace, notably reducing her pace from 11:24 min/mile in the first mile to an impressive 10:38 min/mile over the entire 13.1-mile course. She completed the race in 2:19:16, securing a solid place among her peers, especially in the F50-54 division where she finished 88th out of many competitors.
