Consistent Pace and Strong Finish in the Half Marathon Tomoaki Nakanishi from Chandler, AZ, demonstrated a steady and strong performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon event. Completing the 13.1-mile race in 1:39:30, Tomoaki maintained a consistent pace of 7:35 min/mile. Starting with an 8:32 min/mile pace at the first mile, he quickly accelerated to a notable 7:03 min/mile by mile 3. His consistent pace for most of the race reflects effective pacing strategies, with split times generally improving throughout the course, despite occasional variations, such as a slower 8:07 min/mile during mile 10. Finishing with an overall place of 527th out of 3,859 participants is a commendable achievement.
