Consistent Effort with Strategic Pacing Deborah Lammli, a 71-year-old runner from Stanton, NE, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon's Half Marathon, representing the 50 States Half Marathon Club. She completed the 13.1-mile race in 3:10:25, averaging a pace of 14:32 min/mile. Her performance is commendable, especially noting consistent pacing throughout the race. Deborah started strong with a 13:46 min/mile pace in the first mile and maintained similar times through much of the course. As the race progressed, Deborah faced challenges but showed resilience in her pacing strategy. The initial miles demonstrated consistency, though the latter stages showed slight increases in per-mile pacing, particularly in miles 11 and 12.
