Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish In the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon, Zoilabella Calo Amiot exhibited impressive consistency. Her splits demonstrated a commendable ability to maintain a steady pace, with most miles recorded between 9:27 and 10:01 min/mile. Notably, the 12th mile was logged at 9:05 min/mile, her fastest split, showing a strong finish as she completed the half marathon in 2:06:22 with an elapsed pace of 9:38 min/mile. Zoilabella participated in the event as part of "Latinos Run Phoenix." Among 3859 participants, she placed 752nd in her gender category and 64th in the Female 50-54 division. Compared to a previous 10K performance at the 2024 Mesa Marathon, where she maintained an 11:34 min/mile pace, Zoilabella's half marathon results show remarkable improvement in pace. To fine-tune performance, future focus on maintaining positive split speeds could be beneficial.
