Consistent Pacing and Strong Finish Highlight Half Marathon Maria Testa showcased impressive pacing throughout the 2025 Mesa Marathon half marathon event. Her splits demonstrate a consistent and slightly improving pace, starting with a 12:30 min/mile and closing strong with an 11:41 min/mile in the final mile. Notably, Maria's third split was her fastest mile at 11:01 min/mile. Maintaining nearly uniform pacing is an effective strategy for stamina and endurance, essential components in long-distance running. Overall, Maria completed the race in 2:36:34 with an average pace of 11:57 min/mile. Her performance in the F55-59 division placed her 68th, showing competitive effort across 13.1 miles.
