Consistent Pace and Improved Ranking at 2025 Mesa Marathon Karl Johnson demonstrated remarkable consistency and pacing in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, finishing with a time of 2:58:36. He maintained a steady average pace of 6:49 min/mile over the 26.2-mile course. Notably, Karl excelled in his division, placing 4th out of a strong field. His consistent split times, with minimal fluctuation, highlight his disciplined approach. Noteworthy performances include a swift 6:17 min/mile split in the final mile, showcasing impressive endurance. Compared to the previous year's marathon where he completed in 3:00:14 with a 6:52 min/mile pace, Karl's performance this time improved his overall placement to 171st from 192nd, despite a larger pool of competitors.
