Consistent Pacing and Steady Performance at Half Marathon Carrie's performance at the 2025 Mesa Marathon demonstrated a consistent effort throughout the race. Covering the 13.1 miles with an overall time of 3:05:57, she maintained an average pace of 14:11 minutes per mile. Her initial splits showed steady pacing, with the first mile completed in 12:14, while her pacing shifted to 15:42 as she approached the final stretch. She ranked 1683rd in the female category and 216th in her F40-44 division. Notable splits include the mid-race miles where Carrie's place fluctuated, showing a strong recovery towards the end at mile 12. Carefully analyzing the pacing from mile 7 onwards might provide insights for enhancing her consistency, especially as her split pace increased in the second half.
