Date: February 8, 2025 Participant: Kaylee Riley #18145 Race: 2025 Mesa Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles Weather: Perfect running conditions at 63°F, partly cloudy skies, and a slight breeze from the east in Mesa, AZ.

Strong Performance with Consistent Pace and Strategy Kaylee Riley demonstrated a solid and consistent performance in the 2025 Mesa Marathon Half Marathon. Her overall time was 1:39:37, with an average pace of 7:36 min/mile. She consistently held strong pacing throughout the race, with several splits in the 7:30-7:40 range. Notably, Kaylee achieved her fastest split between miles 12 and 13, clocking in at 7:05 min/mile. Throughout the race, Kaylee maintained her position within her division (F25-29), finishing 44th out of many participants. Her position fluctuated slightly during the race, reaching as high as 39th within her division at various checkpoints. However, she displayed tenacity and endurance, making a rapid finish towards the last split. Kaylee’s performance reflects a strategic approach and strong pacing discipline. Continuing to focus on the early miles could further enhance her performance in future races.
