Consistent Effort with Strong Finish Karyn Fender demonstrated endurance and consistency at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, maintaining a solid pace throughout the race. Her overall time was 1:01:31 with a steady average pace of 9:55 min/mile. She showed improvement in the latter part of the course, especially notable in her final mile split of 9:23, which was her fastest segment. Her performance placed her 51st in her division (F35-39) and 231st among female competitors, with a field of 2107 participants. Across the splits, Karyn maintained pace variation effectively. Her initial mile was completed in 9:58, with slight fluctuations through the second and third miles. While her pace dipped slightly in mile three with a 10:19 split, she quickly recovered and improved her pacing in subsequent miles.
