Steady Pace with Strategic Increases Ben Griffin, 28, from Tampa, FL, completed the 2025 Mesa Marathon in 3:56:49 with an overall pace of 9:02 min/mile. Throughout the race, his pacing demonstrated consistency and a thoughtful increase in speed between miles 6 and 7, where he achieved a split of 7:58 min/mile. Impressive pacing between miles 19 and 21 showcases effective energy management, with mile 19 clocking a solid pace of 9:00 min/mile resulting in a placement improvement to 1060th overall.
