Pacing Mastery with a Strong Finish Isabella Oramas, a 15-year-old from Obregon, SON, showcased impressive pacing at the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K. Her split times reveal a steady start, with an initial pace of 10:33 min/mile, slightly increasing her pace to 10:19 min/mile by the second mile. Notably, Isabella maintained her pace under 11 minutes per mile until the final stretch. Despite a slight dip in mile three to 11:14 min/mile, she displayed resilience by maintaining a consistent pace throughout the race. Her final time was 1:07:04, achieving a commendable 14th place in her F15-18 division out of a substantial 2107 participants. Isabella’s first mile split to her finishing time presentation underscores her ability to start strong and hold a steady pace over the course of the event.
