Consistent Beginnings with Increasing Splits Duangruetai Schwartz maintained an impressive pace through the first half of the marathon. Starting strong, with her initial splits around an 11:06-11:09 min/mile pace for the first two miles, she showcased a consistent start. Her pace peaked at mile 3 with an 11:02 min/mile and consistently hovered around the 11:00 and 11:10 min/mile mark until mile 4, where her placement was 3011th overall and 1085th among females in the marathon. This indicates a steady and controlled start to the race, demonstrating strategic pacing. As the marathon progressed, some challenges appeared, evidenced by a gradual increase in her split times.
