Consistent Pacing Sets a Strong Standard Emily Mauser, competing in the 2025 Mesa Marathon, ran a consistent race with steady pacing throughout. She maintained a strong start with a pace of 6:42 min/mile in the first mile, and successfully held a pace generally in the 6:42-7:00 min/mile range through the majority of the marathon. Notably, her pace remained strong through the initial two-thirds of the race, with her placement holding within the top positions for her division.
