Steady Start, Increased Challenge Mid-Race Craig Robison from Gilbert, AZ, participated in the 2025 Mesa Marathon 10K, showing a strong start with a first-mile pace of 11:08 min/mile, placing 322nd among males. After the first mile, his pace began to slow slightly, peaking at a 15:18 min/mile split in the third mile. Despite this, he managed to finish with an overall time of 1:25:10, placing 71st in his division. Although Craig’s pace decreased after mile one, his final mile showed an improvement, with a pace of 12:57 min/mile. Comparing this race with his previous 2024 Mesa Marathon performance, he can focus on mid-race pacing strategies to maintain his early speed. Strengthening his pacing consistency from miles two to five can enhance his performance in future races. As a member of the Robison Rumble team, his perseverance remains commendable.
