Consistent Pace with a Notable Finish Nicholas Harrison raced the 2025 Mesa Marathon with a finish time of 4:54:20, averaging an 11:14 min/mile pace. Starting with a strong 9:41 min/mile for the first mile split, he maintained a steady pace throughout the marathon. By mile 3, his pace slowed to 10:12 min/mile. Nicholas achieved a notable negative split between mile 11 and mile 12, sprinting a 9:16 min/mile pace, the fastest in his race. Although there were some slower miles towards the end, with the slowest pace recorded at 14:03 min/mile at mile 21, Nicholas's performance remained consistent. He finished 2522nd out of 3624 overall, placing 1632nd among male runners and 264th in his division (M25-29). As a member of the "AZ Fam" team, Nicholas did well managing his effort across the marathon distance.
